Both models charge on a single phase at up to 7.4 kW. With a suitable connection, up to 22 kW is possible on 3 × 400 V with neutral, and up to 12.7 kW on 3 × 230 V without neutral. Your car and electrical installation determine the actual charging power. The built-in mobile connection (LTE-M) and OCPP connection support online management. A suitable Equalizer lets the charger adjust power to your home. For solar charging, we also check your grid type and management platform. V2G-ready means the hardware is prepared to feed electricity back from your car. Actual operation also depends on your car, software, energy service, installation and regulations.

Good to know

Frequently asked
questions.

What is the current CREG rate for home charging with a company car?

From October to December 2026, the maximum fixed payment per kWh charged at home is € 0,3225 in Flanders, € 0,3688 in Brussels and € 0,3779 in Wallonia. This flat rate only applies if the conditions are met. Your employer can reimburse a lower amount or your proven actual costs; the company car policy determines the method.

Which charging station suits my car?

We often recommend Charge Max for home charging, both privately and with reimbursement from your employer. Charge Pro offers greater scalability for larger or shared charging locations. In the simulator you can choose Max or Pro. Both have a certified MID meter and are standard V2G-ready: the hardware is prepared for bidirectional charging. We test your choice based on your grid connection, the number of charging points and the desired management.

Compare Easee Charge Max and Charge Pro
What charging speed can I expect?

How quickly you charge at home depends on your car and your electrical installation. The car, connection, protection, cable or settings can limit the speed. Especially on 3 × 230 V without neutral conductor, the charging speed varies greatly per model.

Is a charging station worth it if I can also charge via a regular socket?

Charging via a regular socket can be done as a temporary or occasional solution, with a suitable mobile Mode 2 charging cable with protection unit, an earthed socket and an electrical installation in good condition. For daily charging, a fixed charging station is almost always the better choice: it is designed for long-term high power, charges faster and can use the available power more intelligently.

When is a home battery interesting?

A home battery can be interesting if you regularly put solar power on the grid during the day and purchase power again in the evening or at night. Charging via the grid can also be useful with a dynamic rate, if the price difference covers all additional costs. We look at your measurement data per quarter of an hour, energy contract and consumption moments to assess whether you can use the storage often enough.
