First understand, then install

A charging station tailored to your car, home and use.

Your charging station must suit your car, connection and daily use. We also look at your solar panels, parking space, cable route and any reimbursement from your employer. This way we choose an installation that works today and can grow later.

We often recommend Charge Max for home and company car charging. Charge Pro offers more scalability for larger or shared charging sites. You can select Max or Pro in the simulator. Both include a certified MID meter and V2G-ready hardware, prepared for bidirectional charging. We check your chosen model against your use and connection.

Jonas and Joey prepare and implement the installation. After installation we will explain everything and remain available. We only engage an external party after consultation for an inspection or specialist work.

Price and technical choice

What determines your charging station installation?

You will only get a reliable price estimate when we look at material, work and technical conditions together. These are the most important factors that we check before the quotation.

01

Connection and charging power

We look at how much electricity your home and car can handle. We check whether your connection has one phase (single-phase) or three phases (three-phase) and what the built-in charger of your car supports.

02

Cable route and installation

The distance to the cabinet, penetrations, indoor or outdoor cabling, excavation and mounting on the wall or on a pole determine the material and working hours.

03

Protection and inspection

A fixed charging point has its own, suitably protected circuit. We map out in advance which adjustments to the fuse box, diagrams and inspection are part of the work.

04

Smart energy management

With an Easee Equalizer, the charging current can take into account your home consumption, set limit and available solar energy. We check how we can measure the power consumption of your home.

05

Charging at home, automatically refunded

Have your employer or company automatically reimburse your home charging costs via our own management platform. Laadnatie does not charge any subscription fees or platform costs. We check your business charging card and energy measurement and ensure the correct connection.

06

Use today and tomorrow

A second car, future solar panels, a home battery or multiple charging points influence the calculation. We provide space for later without making the installation unnecessarily heavy.

Four clear steps

This is how your charging station installation works.

You know in advance what we need, what choices we make and what happens on installation day. In a complex situation we plan extra preparation.

  1. 01

Simulate and get to know each other

You put together your first preferences online or contact us directly. This way we immediately have a view of your car, desired charging location, connection and distance to the cabinet.

  2. 02

    Technical check

We check the cabinet, meter, earthing, cable route and installation location with clear photos, a video call or, where necessary, a site visit. We will resolve open questions before the works begin.

  3. 03

    Place and set up

We provide the cabling and security, install the charging point and set up the charger and any Equalizer. We then test the charging station and energy control and check whether the set charging power is safe.

  4. 04

    Deliver and remain accessible

We show you how to charge, manage access and view usage. We provide the necessary documents and follow up on the agreed inspection. If you have a question later, please call or email us directly.

01

Smart charging without surprises

Load balancing prevents your connection from becoming overloaded.

An electric car requires a lot of power for a long time. At the same time, your hob, heat pump, boiler and other appliances can require electricity. Dynamic power distribution, also called load balancing, measures how much power the home uses and automatically adjusts the charging current. This means that the charging station does not have to continuously use maximum power and a heavier connection is often not necessary.

The Easee Equalizer can also help to charge with available solar power. This is no guarantee that every sunny minute will end up entirely in the car: minimum charging current, phases, varying production and other home consumption play a role. We set up the arrangements for your connection and explain what you can expect in practice.

  • Loading capacity tailored to the vehicle and electrical installation.
  • Adjustable limit to monitor the total home power.
  • Solar charging only when measurement and installation support it.
  • One clear schedule instead of conflicting schedules in your car and different apps.
02

Home, business or shared parking

A charging station for your home requires something different than shared parking.

For a family home, the focus is often on everyday convenience, solar panels and limiting peaks. For a company car, accurate metering and correct charging reimbursement become more important. In an apartment or business car park, multiple users, access rights, available capacity and possible expansion need to be considered together from the start.

We choose an Easee model based on the number of charging points, the measurement of consumption and who is allowed to charge. We check how many charging points can work on the same circuit and location. The certified MID meter is included as standard. We tailor an online platform for management and payment to the users and desired settlement.

Charge Max and Charge Pro are both V2G-ready. Their hardware is prepared to feed electricity back from your car in future. A working export function also requires a suitable car, software, energy service and electrical installation. We check what is actually available for your situation.

Installer in Flanders and Brussels

We install throughout Flanders and Brussels and are also looking at projects in Wallonia.

From Jabbeke and Mechelen we install charging stations throughout Flanders and Brussels. We often prepare a simple situation with clear photos or a video call. If the cabinet, cable route or mounting location requires more research, we will determine together whether a site visit is necessary.

In Flanders, you report a private charging station to Fluvius when the reporting obligation applies. For a charging point in the Brussels Capital Region, the mandatory notification is done via Sibelga. We will discuss which documents you need for your connection.

For installations in Wallonia, we prepare everything via photos or a video call. Send us your address and a short description and we will confirm in advance how we can carry out the installation.

Good to know in advance

Frequently asked questions about the installation of a charging station.

What does a charging station cost including installation?

The price mainly depends on the charging point, the distance to the fuse box, the mounting method, protections, inspection and any energy management. You put those parts together in our simulator. We will then check your photos, connection and charging location. This way we base the final quotation on your actual situation, not just on a general starting price.

Can every home have a charging station?

Many homes in Flanders and Brussels are suitable for a charging station, but the usable charging capacity varies. We look at the connection, main protection, meter cupboard and fuse box, earthing, parking space and the cable route. When available power is limited, dynamic power distribution (load balancing) can adjust the charging current to other home consumption. If adjustments are necessary, we will discuss them before installation. This way you know in advance which solution is safe and practical.

How long does it take to install a charging station?

A well-prepared standard installation is often installed in a few hours. The exact duration is mainly determined by the length and difficulty of the cable route, drilling, excavation work, mounting on a pole and any adjustments in the fuse box. After installation, we test the protections, set the charger and energy control and explain the app. For multiple charging points or a complex location, we plan the implementation separately.

Do I need a single-phase or three-phase charging station?

The choice of charging station is not only determined by the grid. Your car's on-board charger, electrical connection, fuses and cable also limit the actual speed. Single-phase charging is possible up to approximately 7,4 kW; on a suitable three-phase 400 V connection, up to 22 kW is possible, although many cars on alternating current charge a maximum of 11 kW. We tailor the settings to what you can actually use today and take the next car into account.

Will my charging station be inspected and will I receive an explanation after installation?

A new or modified fixed charging installation must be correctly included in the electrical file and inspected in accordance with the applicable rules. Your proposal clearly states which inspection and documents we provide. After installation, we test and set up the installation. We then go over the Easee app, access, cable locking, charging schedules and energy control. You can also call or email us directly afterwards with a practical question.
