What data do we use?
Which data we process depends on your contact with Laadnatie. This may involve:
- contact and identification details, such as your name, email address, phone number, address and, where applicable, company or VAT details;
- information from the simulator and your enquiry, including your chosen solution, home or business premises, electrical connection, consumption, solar panels, charging needs and comments;
- technical images that you provide voluntarily, such as photos or videos of the distribution board, meter cabinet, cable route or mounting location;
- customer, invoice and payment details, such as a Teamleader invoice number, outstanding balance, Mollie payment reference and payment status;
- technical website data that are necessary for the website to function securely and correctly, such as IP address, browser information, time and requested page;
- limited campaign and measurement data, such as the advert or website through which you found us, pages visited and interactions. Technically, this includes UTM campaign fields, Google click IDs, the first landing page and the external referrer. The OpenAI click reference
opprefis used only with your marketing consent. Under cookies and ad measurement read what we share with Google and OpenAI.
We receive most of the data directly from you. For existing customers, we can also consult data in Teamleader, Mollie or our own technical and administrative files.
03
Why do we use that data?
To assess your request, confirm the technical feasibility and price, prepare a quote and contact you about it.
Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.To plan and carry out your installation, follow it up and provide support.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in safe and proper functioning.We will not make an exclusively automated decision based on your request that has legal or similar important consequences for you.
04
Who do we share data with?
Only staff and partners who need the data for their work can access it. Depending on your enquiry or file, we use services including:
- Teamleader for customer, quotation, invoice and file management;
- Mollie for ecocheque payments and checking the payment status;
- hosting, email and technical service providers for the secure operation of our website and communications;
- Google for limited cookieless Consent Mode signals; Google Analytics, full Google Ads measurement and OpenAI for ChatGPT Ads only for the categories you consent to;
- Trustlocal, when you give permission to load the external customer reviews;
- installation or inspection partners when necessary to perform the requested service;
- government agencies or professional advisors when required by law or when necessary to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data. When a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we require a valid basis for transfer and appropriate safeguards.
05
How long do we keep data?
We do not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which we use it:
- we retain enquiries, price calculations and technical images for as long as needed to assess your enquiry and provide reasonable follow-up;
- when you become a customer, we include relevant data in your customer and installation file for as long as necessary for implementation, follow-up, warranty and any disputes;
- we store invoice and payment information for the statutory tax and accounting periods;
- We keep technical log data for as long as necessary for security, error investigation and incident handling;
- We store your cookie preference for a maximum of six months;
- temporary campaign data disappears from session storage when the browser session ends. We only store and use the OpenAI click reference there after your marketing permission;
- our configuration retains analytics cookies for up to thirteen months. Google and OpenAI advertising cookies may have their own shorter lifetimes.
Afterwards, we delete or anonymize the data, unless a legal obligation or an ongoing dispute requires longer storage.
06
Cookies and ad measurement
You choose analysis and marketing separately. We do not place analysis or advertising cookies without permission. Google then receives limited signals without cookies; the OpenAI Pixel only loads after marketing permission. You can always change your choice via .
Our website uses technically necessary storage and server logs to keep pages and forms working correctly and securely. The fonts of this website are stored on our own server and therefore do not connect to Google Fonts.
Anonymous business card statistics
On the personal business card pages, we count per employee and per day how often a page is visibly opened and which links are clicked. We do not use cookies, visitor IDs or visitor profiles for this count. Names, email addresses, IP addresses and browser characteristics are not stored in the counts.
Only authorised staff can view the collected totals. These represent page openings and link clicks, rather than unique people or confirmed enquiries. We do not load Google or OpenAI measurement code on these business card pages.
We keep your cookie choice for a maximum of six months. Your browser's session storage only stores allowed campaign fields, Google click IDs, the first landing page, and the external referrer until your browser session ends. This does not load an external measurement service or track you across other websites.
Legal basis: our legitimate interests in a reliable website and correct origin of a request.After your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and non-personal interactions. With a confirmed request, the simulator can also report the type of request and, if a reliable simulation price exists, that estimated value in euros.
Legal basis: your consent.With your marketing consent, we measure whether our advertisements lead to an inquiry and load external customer reviews. Not every request counts as an advertising conversion.
What does Google receive without marketing consent?
Without marketing consent, the Google tag remains in a cookieless measurement mode. The tag will then not read or write any advertising or analytics cookies and will only report limited signals, including consent status and — after a confirmed request — conversion type, estimated value, and a random unique request reference. Advertising click IDs in the page URL are shielded from Google. Google can use these signals at an aggregated level for conversion modeling.
We use Google Consent Mode with all storage permissions denied by default.
What do Google and OpenAI measure after consent?
With your consent, we enable full Google Ads measurement and OpenAI’s ChatGPT Ads.
We report only a successful EV charger quotation enquiry to OpenAI, including one combined with a home battery, as lead_created, using the unique enquiry reference as the event ID. An enquiry solely about a home battery, or one that skips the simulation to request personal advice, does not count as a conversion for ChatGPT Ads. We exclude this event from future ad personalisation. The external Trustlocal customer review widget is also covered by this choice.
After marketing consent, OpenAI may use codes derived from contact information to associate a confirmed charging station quote with an advertising click. A code derived from contact data is called a hash; that does not automatically make the data anonymous.
What form data can be linked?
We do not send full or raw form content such as name, email address, phone number, address, comments and uploads as event parameters to Google Analytics, Google Ads or OpenAI.
The OpenAI Pixel can automatically recognize, locally normalize and hash supported contact data in the browser after your marketing consent; those hashes can be sent to OpenAI for association with an ad click. We do not provide free text, technical images and documents for this purpose.
Google and OpenAI may process data outside the European Economic Area. The applicable transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards, such as contractual data protection provisions, apply. They also act according to their own privacy and security conditions.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via at the bottom of the website. A revocation applies to future measurements; Known cookies from Google Analytics, Google Ads and OpenAI placed on our website are deleted. The lawfulness of previous processing remains unchanged.
When you start an ecocheque payment, you continue in Mollie's secure payment environment. Mollie processes the payment details in accordance with its own privacy statement.
07
How do we protect your data?
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access and misuse. Access is limited to those who need the data for work. No digital processing is completely risk-free, but we monitor problems and adjust our security when necessary.
08
What rights do you have?
You can, within the terms of the privacy legislation, request:
- access to your personal data and a copy thereof;
- correction or addition of incorrect data;
- deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- transfer of data that you have provided yourself;
- withdrawal of consent when processing is based on it.
Send your request to hello@laadnatie.com. We may request additional information to verify your identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
